Discover the multiple sides to Amsterdam! Amsterdam is famously gezellig, a Dutch quality that translates roughly as convivial or cosy. It's more easily experienced than defined. There's a sense of time stopping, an intimacy of the here and now that leaves all your troubles behind, at least until tomorrow. You can get that warm, fuzzy feeling in many situations, but the easiest place is a traditional brown café. Named for their wood panelling and walls stained by smoke over the centuries, brown cafés practically have gezelligheid (cosiness) on tap, alongside good beer. You can also feel gezellig at any restaurant after dinner, when you're welcome to linger and chat after your meal while the candles burn low. A canal trip is an unforgettable experience.

You’ll have a short journey by train across the border to Belgium, a country perhaps often overlooked, but with a wealth of stunning architecture (among numerous other things) and arrive in Antwerp

Belgium’s second city and biggest port, Antwerp (Antwerpen/Anvers in Dutch/French) is the country’s capital of cool, a powerful magnet for mode moguls, club queens, art lovers and diamond dealers. In the mid-16th century it had been one of Europe’s most important cities and home to baroque superstar artist Pieter Paul Rubens, as you’ll be so constantly reminded. Despite many historical disasters thereafter and severe WWII bombings, the city retains an intriguing medieval heart with café-filled cobbled lanes, a riverside fortress and a truly impressive cathedral. Today Antwerp’s top drawcards are its vibrant fashion, entertainment scene and startling architectural and cultural contrasts.

A second train journey will take you to Bruges.

If you set out to design a fairy-tale medieval town it would be hard to improve on central Bruges (Brugge in Dutch). Picturesque cobbled lanes and dreamy canals link exceptionally photogenic market squares lined with soaring towers, historic churches and old whitewashed almshouses. And there’s plenty of it. There’s a special charm in spring when daffodils carpet the tranquil begijnhof or in winter (except Christmas) when you can have the magnificent, if icy, town almost to yourself.

A third train journey will take you to the Belgium capital.

The fascinating capital of Belgium and Europe is historic yet hip, bureaucratic yet bizarre, self-confident yet unshowy and multicultural to its roots. These contrasts are multilayered – Francophone alongside Flemish, and Eurocrats cheek-by-jowl with immigrants. And all this plays out in a cityscape that swings from majestic to quirky to rundown and back again. Organic art-nouveau facades face off against 1960s concrete disgraces, and regal 19th-century mansions contrast with the brutal glass of the EU’s Gotham City. This whole maelstrom swirls forth from Brussels’ medieval core, where the Grand Place is surely one of the world’s most beautiful squares.  One constant is the enviable quality of everyday life, with a café/bar scene that could keep you drunk for years. But Brussels doesn’t go out of its way to impress. The citizens’ humorous, deadpan outlook on life is often just as surreal as the classic canvases of one-time resident René Magritte.

Amsterdam - Anvers - Brugge - Bruxelles

①②③ Your home city - Amsterdam
Arrive in Amsterdam. Proceed to check in for your stay of 3 nights.
Amsterdam is a unique city. Despite the obvious presence of thousands of visitors, its life remained authentic. To observe it is enough to stroll along the canal streets or to sit for a while in one of Amsterdam many cafés. Nevertheless, there are places in the city you should not miss during your visit. Here is our list of the best of the best: Civic Guards Gallery Schuttersgalerij,
The Rijksmuseum (the largest and the most attractive museum in the Netherlands), Het Scheepvaart Museum – The National Maritime Museum, Van Gogh Museum, Begijnhof, Oude Kerk, Magere Brug (Is a traditional double-leaf Dutch draw-bridge connecting sides of river Amstel), and the Anne Frank Huis.

④⑤ Amsterdam – Antwerp
Head to the train neo-renaissance central train station of Amsterdam (1889) and take the train to Antwerp.
Arrival in the neo-Gothic façade of the station, you’ll enter the vast main hall and splendidly proportioned dome, the 1905 Antwerpen-Centraal train station is one of the city's premier landmarks. It was rated by Newsweek as one of the world’s five most beautiful stations. It's also very practical, the multilevel platforms having had a full 21st-century makeover.
Check in to your hotel where you’ll stay for 2 nights.
Antwerp is the country’s capital of cool, a powerful magnet for mode moguls, club queens, art lovers and diamond dealers.  Unmissable sights and activities include the MAS gallery, Museum plantin Moretus, Onze-Lieve-Vrouwekathedraal (Belgium’s finest Gothic cathedral) and of course a tour of the Diamond District.

⑥⑦ Antwerp– Bruges
Check out and take the train to Bruges.
Check in at your hotel where you’ll stay for 2 nights.
Brugge is an outstanding example of a medieval historic settlement, which has maintained its historic fabric as this has evolved over the centuries, and where original Gothic constructions form part of the town's identity. As one of the commercial and cultural capitals of Europe, Brugge developed cultural links to different parts of the world. It is closely associated with the school of Flemish Primitive painting. UNESCO has judged the centre to be part of the world heritage list. Unmissable sights include: visit the Choco Story chocolate museum, take a canal tour, hang out in the large open Makt square and take in the Groeningmuseum.

⑧⑨⑩ Bruges - Brussels
Check out, head back to the train station and take the train to Brussels.
Check in at your hotel for a 3 night stay.
Brussels has a number of must-see spots: the Grand place being near the top of the list. Built around a cobbled rectangular market square, La Grand-Place in Brussels, the earliest written reference to which dates back to the 12th century, features buildings emblematic of municipal and ducal powers, and the old houses of corporations. An architectural jewel, it stands as an exceptional and highly successful example of an eclectic blending of architectural and artistic styles of Western culture, which illustrates the vitality of this important political and commercial centre. Other must dos: a chocolate themed walking tour, visit the musée royaux des beaux arts and follow the trace of Tintin and other famous Belgian comic-book heros or heroines.
